Sales/Business Development Manager

The Sales/Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and closing sales opportunities for the Interconnect (Connectors & Switches) Product Line
Job Functions:
1. He/she will identify new product and new market opportunities consistent with the company's competency, including defining their sales potential, impediments to market entry and time horizon.
2. He/she will adjust and optimize sales distribution model for Rebling's connector products that provides maximum margin expansion; ease of purchase by the end user; and at pricing levels acceptable to the end user.
3. He/she will be responsible for product pricing strategy.
4. He/she will be the primary interface for authorized distributors and sales reps, working with them to maximize their sales effort on behalf of the company.
5. He/she will interface with our existing OEM customers and OEM's that are developing systems requiring high current carrying connectors to determine if there are joint ventures or collaborative areas for existing or new product applications.
6. He/she will maintain CRM contacts and opportunities.
7. He/she will assist the President in the ongoing development of the strategic growth plan for the company with both short and long (3+ year) term goals.
8. He/she will provide follow-up to all quotations offered by the company for new applications and new customers and determine the reason for success or failure.
9. He/she will collaborate with Marketing to write content for advertisements, product data sheets, and other marketing campaigns.
10. He/she will conduct business in an ethical and professional manner that is reflective of the company's culture and philosophy.
11. He/she will travel as needed to customers and trade shows. Travel may take 10-25% of his/her time.

Knowledge and Qualifications: The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of 10 years experience in industrial/technical sales, or business development preferably selling directly to large domestic and international OEM's. Must be able to prepare and present customer presentations, demonstrations and the like. Candidate must possess a four year degree, preferably with some technical content incorporated in the curriculum.
Experience selling to the following industries a plus:
Military/Aerospace
Class 8 truck OEMs
Truck fleets (aftermarket parts)
Industrial batteries
Mining & Oil/Gas drilling
Marine
Rail
Construction/Agricultural Equipment
Bus
Emergency vehicles
Electric vehicles
Material handling vehicles

Experience selling connectors or other electrical products a plus.

This connector product line has its niche in high power, demanding applications. Good leads are plentiful and growing across several industries. This position is being added to our sales & marketing team because we have too many opportunities for current staff.
Salary commensurate with experience. Incentive bonus could potentially double the salary or more.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
